Project description

Investigate different methods for creating secure IC designs against a variety of bleeding-edge side-channel attack techniques, including differential power analysis, fault injection, timing attacks, and invasive probing techniques. We will first explore current side-channel attack methods and in what situations they are applicable. We will then investigate state-of-the-art countermeasures and their costs. Finally, we will study additional methods of securing IC designs that are more secure and/or lower overhead than existing techniques.
