The Stand-Alone Braille Tutor (SABT) is designed to guide the process of learning to write braille for blind children through a complete audio feedback system and six buttons that simulate the braille dots. Since the instruction is audio based and the device itself has limited storage capacity, the device currently relies on SD card to store the audios, which results in a substantial amount of loading time. Through this research, I will explore the possibilities of partially loading the files by taking advantage of the data storage space that comes with the device and thus shortens the loading time, delivering a better user experience.
