Undergrad Research Project - Integrated Circuit Testing and Verification

Spring 2014

Project description

This project will serve as a continuation of the capstone IC design class 18-525. That capstone, offered Fall 2013, involved the development of an IC from the conceptual phase to a finished design with the goal of being fabricated. This part of the project is complete and the design for the device is complete, but testing and verification are required to ensure that they function properly and to the specifications that were in the design. This project will be used to develop the testing architectures and methods to confirm test in great detail the functioning of the devices. Developing the testing architectures will involve the creation of test circuits and their construction, as well as the writing of necessary testing software for microcontrollers or PCs used in testing.
