Project description

Magnetoencephalography (MEG) is a noninvasive modality that measures the magnetic fields produced by the neural activity within the brain. It is a valuable technique complementary to other noninvasive recording modalities such as electroencephalography (EEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI). To study and understand the neural activity based on MEG measurement, efficient methodologies must be developed for MEG signal processing and decoding. The objective of this project is to study and find novel algorithms to analyze and decode MEG data in order to understand the functionality of different cortical regions.
